A Season of Harmony on the Horizon
Highlights from Our Annual Member Meeting
The air was filled with excitement last night, August 25th, as members of the Loveland Choral Society gathered for our Annual Member Meeting. It was a wonderful way for our Creative Team and Board of Directors to connect with our members as we celebrated our community and looked ahead to the incredible opportunities on the horizon.
A Vision for the Future
Artistic Director Mike Robertson took the stage to unveil the much-anticipated plans for our upcoming 2025/2026 season. He detailed a season that promises to be rich with diverse and beautiful music. He also shared an update that has us all dreaming big: the planned Loveland Choral Society trip to Europe in 2027! These long-term plans highlight our commitment to providing unforgettable musical experiences for our members. More details will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
Leadership and Community Involvement
The success of our society is driven by the passion of our volunteers. We were proud to introduce our dedicated Board of Directors for the upcoming season. Board President James Berg then spoke, extending a heartfelt invitation for all members to find new ways to get involved, emphasizing that every contribution of time and talent is vital to our mission. Highlights include:
- We are looking for help with social media, graphic design and visuals, and organization of our music library. Anyone interested can speak with a member of the board.
- We are making renewed efforts to increase donations and sponsorships. Thanks to our Board Vice President Doreen Michals we have new, branded materials available including letters and season flyers that can be hand delivered or mailed to business and individuals. These were made available at the meeting and continue to be available on the website and by inquiring with a board member at future rehearsals.
Our Treasurer, Erica Records, provided a clear and encouraging overview of the society's financial status. Her report highlighted our stability and outlined the ambitious goals that will allow us to continue offering high-quality performances while keeping the arts accessible to our community.
A special thank you to our dedicated Secretary Ashley Rogers for taking notes at this meeting and all official events to keep our organization organized and complaint.
Gratitude and Excitement
It’s the passion and hard work of this entire team—from the creative staff and board to every single singing member—that makes every Loveland Choral Society season a success. We are so grateful for their leadership as we plan for another season of harmony, inspiration, and community
