Christmas 2018

Join the Loveland Choral Society for Carols, an inspirational Portrait of the Nativity, a choral medley from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, and jolly Seasonal Sounds to perfectly capture the holiday spirit.

LCS members brought toys for Toys for Tots to help ensure Christmas is magical for all  children in our community.

Spring 2018

LCS brings its 40th anniversary bash to a singin’, swingin’ conclusion with the sounds of Glenn Miller, The Andrews Sisters, Bennie Goodman, Artie Shaw and other great “Kings of Swing”.  A Choral Cavalcade of Big Band Favorites features Stompin At The Savoy, Moonlight Serenade, One O Clock Jump and more. Board the A Train and grab your Satin Doll for the very best of “The Duke” with Ellingtonia. Relive those by-gone days of captivating live broadcasts that kept ears glued to the radio, while enjoying hit tunes that stole the hearts of Americans and kept feet tapping.  Take a look back at World War II and its memorable music with Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Sing! Sing! Sing!, I’ll Be Seeing You and much more. Don’t miss this fabulous finale to our spectacular 40th season.

Fall 2017

LCS kicks off our 40th anniversary season with a stunning concert of pure American music; music that shaped our nation, tested our resolve, lifted our spirits and sang of our diversity.  Relive the birth of our independence with hits from the musical 1776.  Songs of the American Revolution and an electrifying medley of from the Broadway sensation Hamilton echo our nation’s defiance and determination. Thrilling renditions of When Johnny Comes Marching Home, Battle Hymn of The Republic, and selections from Frank Wildhorn’s The Civil War recall darker days in our history.  This eclectic program includes songs that became popular during the war years, folk tunes, and classics from the 60’s and 70’s. A patriotic medley with Salute To The Armed Forces, Dan Forrest’s moving Goodnight, Dear Heart, and John William’s America: And The Dream Goes On offers a stirring tribute honoring the service and sacrifice of those who fought to secure our freedom.


Spring 2017

LCS connected to a whimsical world filled with music and make-believe! We delighted in the antics of Aladdin, took a shadowy journey Into The Woods, experienced the wonderments of Wicked, mysteries of The Secret Garden, charm of Cinderella, the magic of Pippin and more.  

Christmas 2016

The joyous LCS voices and spirited Christmas orchestra celebrate the season in this red, white and blue holiday musical fest with a sleigh-full of holiday classics, carols and holiday favorites by American composers and songwriters. Appalachian Winter combines familiar American carols, retooled Sacred Harp tunes, new versions of Shaker hymns and rustic Appalachian melodies to create a fresh and appealing blend.   A merry medley from Irving Berlin’s timeless White Christmas and hits from How the Grinch Stole Christmas add sparkle and cheer to Loveland’s premier holiday tradition.

Fall 2016

Fresh off their memorable Tour of Germany, Austria and Czech Republic the acclaimed LCS Europe Festival Choir presents a beautiful aural and thrilling visual experience in a magnificent a cappella concert. Classics by Bach, Mozart, Bruckner, Dvorak, Elgar and other composers, plus inspirational spirituals and hymns are exquisitely performed against a background of striking visuals captured during the tour. LCS offers this special concert at a reduced price as a heartfelt “Thank You” to the community for its generosity and continued support.

Spring 2016

Join the crew of the S.S. Jubilee for a memorable musical excursion down the mighty Mississippi. There’ll be on-board singing, dancing, and laughter, plus timeless music from Jerome Kern’s Showboat.  We’ll dock in storied towns, cities and places where the river and music flow.  Melodies from the prairies of Minnesota and Iowa, hit tunes from Big River in the land of Huck Finn, birthing and belting the blues in St. Louis and Memphis, finding Elvis and country music legends alive in Memphis, getting jazzed in New Orleans and much more await passengers on this rollicking LCS riverboat cruise.

Spring 2015

The talented and exuberant LCS stars light up the night and the Rialto with Tony award-winning music from today’s Broadway blockbusters, including hits from Once, Annie, Chicago, Cabaret, How to Succeed in Business, Aladdin, and more! Enjoy Oscar’s best with movie music from Disney, and Les Miserables, plus memorable tunes from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Harvey Girls and other cinematic smashes. Don your best and join LCS for our gala opening night “Red-Carpet Experience”. Don’t miss this unforgettable LCS extravaganza filled with fashion, folly and fantastic music from stage and screen.

Spring 2014

From puppy love and adolescence to love and marriage, LCS leaves no romantic stone unturned in our Spring musical spectacular. You’re sure to fall in love with this fun and fascinating look at the many aspects of love. With Big Band  hits to be-bop, rock n’ roll to soul, and Broadway to the big screen, this LCS original production shines with music and merriment to make your heart dance and your soul sing!
